The People’s Defense Forces continue their resistance operations in response to the military council’s ongoing violence against civilians. Reports from various regions indicate that military council forces continue to engage in acts of violence including burning villages, arbitrary arrests and torture of innocent civilians, killings, and forced recruitment of young people into military service. The resistance movement remains active in defending local populations from these aggressive actions by military council forces across the country.
