
SAGAING DIVISION – Local residents said that 5 people, including 2 children, were injured and the entire village fled as a result of the terrorist army firing heavy weapons at Hsate Kun village, Shwebo township, Sagaing division.
It was fired thoughtlessly by heavy weapons from the Junta Council’s soldiers who arrived in Zeebyugone village to Hsate Kun village in around 11 a.m. on 7th February. Due to the shrapnel, 2 children and 3 adults were injured and 2 cows were dead.
“They fired without fighting, it was learned that the passage of the pagoda, resting place and monastery were hit by shrapnel. 3 shells fell near the farm huts and the monastery north of Inginntaw Pagoda,” said a local resident.
About 3,000 people are fleeing the war because of the terrorist army’s heavy weapons and indiscriminate firing. It is reported that the terrorist army that is in Zeebyugone village is a ration convoy and has been stationed in Zeebyugone village on February 2nd, and is firing with heavy weapons every day.
