
Two soldiers from Military Operations Command 22 in Seikphyu Township, Magway Region, suffered leg injuries from a landmine explosion while on patrol, according to the Seikphyu Tiger Force. The incident occurred around 9 AM on September 11, when a military column of approximately 30 personnel stepped on mines planted by revolutionary forces while conducting a patrol operation from Operations Command 22. The explosion resulted in two soldiers losing their legs and sustaining severe injuries, while other soldiers also suffered various injuries. The military column subsequently retreated back to Operations Command 22.
According to the Seikphyu Tiger Force, they had planted mines within the compound of Operations Command 22. When the military patrol of about 30 personnel departed for their rounds on the morning of September 11, they encountered the mines before even leaving the compound premises. Two soldiers lost their legs in the explosion and sustained severe injuries. While there were no fatalities, several other soldiers were also wounded in the incident. This mining operation was jointly carried out by Zone 4 People’s Defense Force from Pauk Township and the Seikphyu Tiger Force. The revolutionary forces were able to withdraw safely without any casualties.
Additionally, in Sagaing Region, a military column from Ye-U town was attacked with drone-dropped bombs, resulting in severe injuries to five soldiers including one officer, according to a statement from Battalion 14 of the Shwebo District. The incident occurred around 7 AM on September 11, when a military column of about 40 personnel from Ye-U town was advancing towards Thanson village in the western part of the town. Revolutionary forces conducted a drone strike against the column, causing severe injuries to five military personnel including one officer. The resistance forces were able to safely withdraw from the area without suffering any casualties.
