
The Shwepyithar Strike Committee (SPTSC) conducted a public movement in Yangon to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of the 7th of July. The activities included placing stickers with the message ‘7.7.62, Sacrifice for Seven July, Uproot the Fascist Military’ on YBS buses and bus stops throughout the city, along with public awareness campaigns.
This movement was carried out as part of Myanmar’s Spring Revolution and can be considered a civic action against the military dictatorship. Through such activities, the Shwepyithar Strike Committee aims to amplify the voice of the people and maintain momentum in the resistance against the military regime. The committee continues its efforts to organize public movements that challenge the military council’s authority while raising awareness about the ongoing struggle for democracy.
