
The Tanintharyi People’s Defense Force Zone-3 conducted a drone attack on three military vehicles and security patrols traveling from Myeik Township to Tanintharyi Township in Tanintharyi Region, resulting in one casualty from the military side. The attack occurred near Ram Pho village on May 22, targeting a convoy carrying military council troops and supplies. Although the exact number of casualties on the military council’s side could not be confirmed, the revolutionary forces were able to withdraw safely without any injuries, according to the Tanintharyi People’s Defense Force.
Additionally, on May 21, Tanintharyi PDF Zone-5 launched a drone attack on troops from Artillery Battalion 306 during their patrol in Ban La Moot village, resulting in the immediate death of one military sergeant. The revolutionary forces successfully retreated without any casualties. In a separate incident in Sagaing Region, resistance forces conducted a drone attack on the military council troops stationed at Nyaung Phyu Pin police station in Monywa Township, as confirmed by a spokesperson from the Chindwin Fighter Group.
The attack on Nyaung Phyu Pin police station took place around 11 AM on May 24, with resistance forces dropping two bombs via drone. According to the Chindwin Fighter Group spokesperson, at least five military council personnel were injured in the attack, and approximately 80 troops stationed at the police station were observed fleeing the scene. The joint operation was carried out by members of the Chindwin Fighter Group (C.F.G) and the Brave Heart Army-BHA. The exact number of casualties is still being investigated, though it was confirmed that the military council forces, who maintain a presence between Nyaung Phyu Pin and Taw Pu Pyu village, suffered significant injuries and were forced to retreat from their positions.
