The Chin People’s Defense Force (CDF-TT) has officially announced the seizure and public appropriation of all properties, including the house, land, and assets belonging to Dr. Myu Than, who was appointed by the terrorist military council in Thantlang Township, Chin State. This seizure represents an action by the people’s revolutionary forces opposing the military council, carried out as a measure against those collaborating with the military regime.
During a battle in the Mingun area of Sagaing Region, Lieutenant Colonel Zin Myoe Oo, the deputy commander of the military council’s 33rd Division, was wounded and his mobile phone was captured by revolutionary forces. According to the Unicorn Guerrilla Force, the seized phone contained evidence of the lieutenant colonel’s social misconduct. This discovery provides insight into the personal conduct of military council officials during their operations in the region.
In Seikphyu Township, Magway Region, Major Zaw Zaw Win from the military council’s No. 9 Air Defense Unit has been reported to be operating checkpoints where he extorts money from cargo vehicles and civilian travelers. Additionally, he has been demanding money from parents of young people under the pretext of military service requirements. These oppressive actions by military council members continue to escalate tensions in the region, demonstrating the ongoing pattern of civilian exploitation by military authorities.
