The graduation ceremony for the 3rd batch of the Security and Counter-Terrorism Special Task Force (SSTF), a unit under the People’s Police of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, National Unity Government, was successfully held on March 31, 2025, in a liberated area. This training program represents a significant milestone in enhancing the capabilities of the People’s Police Force, with participants from various regions attending the ceremony.
The graduation ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials led by Deputy Police Chief Htun Htun Win of the People’s Police Force. Other notable attendees included Battalion Commander Ko Soe Aung from Nyaung Tho Gyi No. 10 Battalion, Ko Thu Ra, the head of Nyaung Tho Gyi People’s Defense Force, Ko Twet Pi, the head of Mogok People’s Security Force, and Ko Moe Lwin, the head of Amarapura People’s Security Force.
The training program included participants from various regions including Mogok, Naung Cho, Pyin Oo Lwin, Amarapura, Mattaya, and Nyaung Tho Gyi. Throughout the training period, participants studied security expertise, counter-terrorism methods, and fundamental principles of public security. The program focused on developing essential skills for maintaining security and protecting civilians in their respective regions.
