The total proceeds from the four completed shows have amounted to over 110 million Myanmar Kyats, which has already been channeled to support those in need within Myanmar, according to confirmed sources.
Notably, the recent performance held in Texas on July 19th generated over 70,000 US dollars in proceeds. Furthermore, upcoming performances have been scheduled, with ‘Roni Live in Milwaukee’ set to take place on August 16th, and ‘Live in New York’ scheduled for September 13th, as confirmed by the event organizers.
This fundraising and distribution initiative serves as crucial support for people facing difficulties due to the current situation in Myanmar, and stands as a testament to the public service efforts of Myanmar artists in exile. Additional funds are expected to be raised from the upcoming performances, which will continue to be distributed to areas of need within the country. These efforts represent a significant contribution from the artistic community to support those affected by the ongoing crisis in Myanmar, with all proceeds being channeled directly to assist the civilian population in need.
