Revolutionary forces successfully rescued five civilians who were forced by the military council to cross minefields and search for supplies in Thayet Kan Pyu Sawthi village, Myaing Township, Magway Region. According to Saw Gyi from the TYK guerrilla force, the rescue operations took place on July 26th and July 17th, when military council troops had forced local civilians to traverse dangerous minefields while searching for supplies.
Among the rescued civilians were two teenagers, a woman in her 60s named Daw Nyein, a 58-year-old woman named Daw Aye, and Ko San Lin, who is in his 30s. They emphasized that local residents seeking to escape the military council’s oppression can contact the revolutionary forces for assistance in reaching safety.
