
The Central Special Operations Force and allied revolutionary groups launched an offensive against the remaining Military Council’s Infantry Battalion 135 in Pharsaw City, Karenni State, resulting in multiple military casualties and the capture of at least two soldiers alive. A senior official from the Central Special Operations Force confirmed that during the battle on July 7, various revolutionary alliance forces also captured additional military council soldiers. The coordinated attack involved multiple allied forces attacking from different directions, with various revolutionary groups including the Karenni National Defense Force (KNDF) expected to release their own separate reports on captured soldiers.
During the operations to capture Military Council’s Infantry Battalions 134 and 135 bases in Pharsaw, ten members of the Central Special Operations Force were wounded and are currently receiving medical treatment. There were also casualties among other allied forces. The Central Special Operations Force has been conducting joint military operations with local allied forces in Bawlakhe and Pharsaw townships since late 2024. Despite losing one comrade on December 31, 2024, they have declared their commitment to continue fighting until the complete elimination of the military dictatorship system.
Continuous fighting has been occurring since June 25, with battles intensifying and pausing intermittently. Due to indiscriminate firing by military council troops, local civilians have been warned to take extra security precautions. The Central Special Operations Force has been collaborating with local revolutionary allies in the Bawlakhe and Pharsaw military zones since late 2024, demonstrating their sustained commitment to the resistance despite casualties. They have emphasized their determination to continue the fight until achieving complete victory over the military dictatorship, while also prioritizing civilian safety in the conflict zones.
