
Revolutionary forces conducted drone strikes on military outposts in Thanbyuzayat and Ye Townships of Mon State, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers, according to Mi Tala Nyan, spokesperson for the Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF). The attacks were carried out on September 7 and September 13, targeting military positions and checkpoints in the region.
On September 13, at approximately 4:20 PM, revolutionary forces launched a drone attack dropping two bombs on military personnel who were hiding along the railway track near the Hnit Karen village junction in Thanbyuzayat Township. Additionally, on September 7, resistance forces conducted a drone strike on the military’s Kwun Kyaik checkpoint near Maw Kanin village in Ye Township.
The operations were jointly carried out by an alliance of revolutionary forces, including the Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF), Ye People’s Defense Force (YPDF), Karen National Liberation Army Battalion 27 Column 1, and Strategy 33 Dawn Offensive Column – Tapain Shwehti Force. The resistance forces successfully withdrew from the operation without sustaining any casualties, while confirming two fatalities on the military side. These coordinated attacks demonstrate the growing capabilities of resistance forces in conducting precision strikes against military targets in Mon State.
