
According to a statement from Operation Area-2, a clash occurred in Bago Region when military council troops entered territory controlled by revolutionary forces, resulting in three military casualties and the capture of two weapons. The incident took place on August 8th when combined revolutionary forces engaged with military council troops who had invaded their controlled territory. The revolutionary forces included KNLA Battalion 8, Operation Area-2, Bago Military Command, Strategy 24, Dragon Force Battalion, and Battalion 3503, who jointly conducted the defensive operation against the invading forces.
The battle lasted approximately two hours, during which three military council soldiers were killed and about twelve others were wounded. Due to these casualties, the military council forces were forced to retreat from the area. During the engagement, revolutionary forces seized two small arms, ammunition, and various military equipment from the military council troops. This confrontation occurred as a result of the military council’s continued acts of violence against local civilians and their intrusion into territory held by revolutionary forces. The military council has been consistently perpetrating human rights violations, including violence against civilians, unlawful arrests, and looting of civilian property.
