
Revolutionary forces successfully launched attacks on military council positions in Salingyi town, Sagaing Region, targeting a police station and administrative office where junta troops were stationed. According to the leader of the Chindwin Dynamite People’s Defense Force, the attack was carried out on March 7 at around 10 AM, using 60mm and 80mm heavy weapons against approximately 80 military council troops stationed at the facilities.
During the attack, while the military council forces responded with small arms fire, the revolutionary forces were able to withdraw successfully without any casualties. Reports indicate that the military council suffered casualties and explosions were observed within their compound. The operation was jointly carried out by the Chindwin Dynamite group, Yinmabin District Battalion, Red Wing Special Guerrilla Force, and other revolutionary groups.
Simultaneously, revolutionary forces conducted a successful mine attack against military council troops returning from patrol duties on the Monywa-Mandalay road in Monywa Township. On the evening of March 7, when 23 soldiers who were providing security for a military convoy transporting weapons and ammunition to Myapyugyi Gate checkpoint from the Northwestern Command headquarters in Monywa were returning, they were attacked with Padamya mines. The attack resulted in significant casualties among the military council troops, though exact numbers are still being verified. This operation was carried out through coordination between Chaung-U Township PDF and other revolutionary forces in the area.
