
Revolutionary activists based in Seoul, South Korea held a protest demonstration against the terrorist military council’s airstrikes and human rights violations committed by the coup military. The protest was organized by the Myingyan GZ Group and the Bogyoke Thanchaung Support Group, with participation from various revolutionary groups including Yaw-Funding Korea, Brothers to Overthrow the Era of Fear, Ashoka Thukha Group-Gumi, Kalay Brothers, Yeisagyo Group, and Ko Lin Htet Aung (People’s Embrace) along with student and youth revolutionaries.
The protesters held signs and posters condemning the military council’s airstrikes that have killed innocent civilians, and called for increased international pressure to end the military dictatorship as soon as possible. The demonstration aimed to draw more global attention to the military council’s brutal actions and generate increased international support for the Myanmar people’s revolution. Participants displayed photographs and videos documenting the military’s human rights violations, war crimes against civilians, destruction and theft of public property, and violent oppression of the people.
The protesters expressed their grief for innocent civilians killed by the military council’s airstrikes and reaffirmed their commitment to continue fighting until the revolution succeeds. They emphasized the need for the international community to take stronger action against the military council’s ongoing atrocities and provide more substantial support for Myanmar’s pro-democracy movement. The demonstration highlighted the military’s systematic use of violence against its own people and called for concrete steps to hold the junta accountable for its crimes.
