During the artillery attack, a shell directly hit Daw Tin Hyi’s house and exploded. The explosion resulted in the immediate death of the retired headmistress Daw Tin Hyi, who suffered severe injuries including the loss of her leg. Additionally, her adopted daughter Ma Khaing Thin Kyi, who suffers from mental illness, sustained serious injuries including the loss of three fingers.
