A significant incident occurred in Chaung Kan Gyi village, Nattalin Township, Bago Region, causing concern among local residents. On the evening of September 22, Myint Zaw, a Pyu Saw Htee member, was attacked and killed inside his residence. The leader of the Bamar Revolution Army (B.R.A), Comrade Kyaw, provided detailed information about this incident to the Yangon Modern News Agency.
The deceased, Myint Zaw, was a graduate of Pyu Saw Htee training and served as a hardcore supporter of the military. He was regularly involved in forcefully collecting monthly military service fees from local civilians and acting as a guide for military columns during their operations in the area. The revolutionary forces targeted him due to his oppressive actions against the local population. The attack was carried out through a joint operation between Battalion 3801, the Bamar Revolution Army, and members of Division 7 Battalion Headquarters.
Comrade Kyaw further explained that ward administrators, hundred-household heads, and those serving as pillars for the military have been warned to cease their activities and return to the right path. He emphasized that if they continue to work for the military instead of heeding this warning, decisive action would be taken against them. The revolutionary forces maintain their stance of welcoming those who choose to abandon their support for the military regime, while remaining firm in their response to those who persist in oppressing civilians.
