
A member of the Pyu Saw Htee, who are aligned with the military council, was killed in a sniper attack by revolutionary forces in Kan Ni village, Myaing Township, Magway Region, according to a senior official from the Victor Guerrilla Force. The attack took place on June 10th, when revolutionary forces deliberately targeted Pyu Saw Htee members who were patrolling in Kan Ni village using sniper weapons. During the attack, one Pyu Saw Htee member sustained gunshot wounds and subsequently died from these injuries on June 13th.
Regarding the details of the operation, the Victor Guerrilla Force official explained that they had been conducting guerrilla-style surveillance of Kan Ni village since June 7th. During this surveillance period, they successfully targeted one Pyu Saw Htee member with sniper fire on June 10th. The targeted individual succumbed to his injuries three days later on June 13th. Following the attack, all revolutionary force members were able to safely withdraw to their bases without any casualties. The operation demonstrated the tactical capabilities and coordination of the revolutionary forces in their ongoing resistance against military council-aligned forces.
The attack was carried out through a coordinated effort involving multiple resistance groups, including the Victor Guerrilla Force, Pakokku District Battalion 2’s Company 2, Monywa District Battalion 25’s Company 2 Sniper Team, Anyar Region Guerrilla Force’s Township PDF, and Lightning Guerrilla Force’s Township PDF.
