
A public support rally titled ‘Global Action for Credential Campaign 2025’ was held in front of the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, United States, on September 21, led by Myanmar’s Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun. The rally was organized to support the continued representation of Myanmar’s people by Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun at the United Nations.
During the event, officials from the National Unity Government (NUG), including Minister of Communications, Information and Technology U Htin Linn Aung and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs U Moe Zaw Oo, delivered speeches. The participants also offered prayers for the good health of democracy leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
The demonstrators not only condemned the illegal actions of the military junta but also called for international community cooperation to permanently end the military dictatorship system. They urged for the complete international isolation of the military group and full support for the Myanmar people’s struggle for democracy. The protesters also called on the United Nations to listen to the voices of Myanmar’s people and take effective action to end the military dictatorship. They emphasized the importance of maintaining legitimate representation at the UN through Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun, who continues to stand for the interests of Myanmar’s civilian population against the military regime that has been committing widespread human rights violations.
