
According to reports from Yangon, public awareness activities are being conducted in several villages of Myinmu Township to help protect civilians from potential dangers posed by the military council’s air strikes. Led by the Ayataw People’s Strike and Myinmu Township Strike Force, these activities include practical demonstrations of bunker construction techniques and emergency procedures to follow during air raids, working in collaboration with local residents.
The awareness program includes detailed explanations about paramotors and gyrocopters, including their characteristics, movement patterns, and sound signatures to help residents identify them. The sessions also cover comprehensive information about safe shelter locations during air raids, proper bunker construction methods, and the importance of planning emergency exits. Additionally, informational pamphlets containing emergency guidelines and safety protocols were distributed to the attendees.
Local residents have shown keen interest in these awareness activities, actively participating and taking notes on crucial information needed to prepare their communities for potential air strikes. Rural community members, in particular, have come to understand the importance of systematic preparation to protect their family members and community. The initiative has seen significant participation from villagers who recognize the critical nature of being prepared for emergency situations in their areas.
