A protest was held in Tokyo, Japan, against the Chinese Communist government’s interference in Myanmar’s affairs. The protesters demanded that the Chinese government stop supporting the military junta, which acts against the will of the Myanmar people. The demonstrators pointed out that China has violated the Bandung Agreement by interfering in Myanmar’s internal affairs while providing weapons and technology to the terrorist military council.
The protesters called for China to immediately cease putting pressure on Spring Revolution forces and Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs). They also demanded that China refrain from supporting the sham election planned by the terrorist military. The protesters strongly condemned the Chinese government for undermining the Myanmar people’s democratic revolution and encouraging the military council’s brutal actions.
The protest in Tokyo included both Myanmar citizens and local Japanese participants who called for China to stop interfering in Myanmar’s affairs, support the Myanmar people’s struggle for democracy, and cease providing assistance to the terrorist military. Protesters peacefully demonstrated while holding signs demanding that the Chinese government change its policies regarding Myanmar and respect the will of the Myanmar people. The demonstration highlighted the international community’s growing concern over China’s role in supporting the military council while opposing the democratic aspirations of the Myanmar people.
