Captain Khun Zaw, who resided in Phaya Phyu Ward of Sisaing Town in Southern Shan State, joined the Pa-O People’s Militia Force after completing his university education and later served within the military council forces. He was serving as the officer in charge of drone technology operations for the military council forces when he was killed while participating in joint operations with military council troops in Rakhine State. His death occurred during active combat operations alongside military council forces in the region.
The PNO People’s Militia Force, which operates under the military council’s command, is currently actively participating in frontline operations alongside military council troops. Sources have confirmed their particular involvement in ongoing battles within Rakhine State, where they fight on behalf of the military council. This collaboration with the military council has resulted in casualties among militia force members, as evidenced by this recent death. The group’s continued participation in military operations alongside the council forces demonstrates their active role in current conflicts, particularly in the Rakhine theater of operations.
