A spokesperson from the Pakokku People’s Defense Force (PPDF) has confirmed that People’s Defense Forces attacked a military council outpost in Inn Pin village, Pakokku Township, Magway Region, resulting in military council casualties. The battle, which occurred on March 22, was triggered by the military council’s expansion of troops in Inn Pin village. The People’s Defense Forces launched the operation in response to the arrival of additional military council soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members.
The joint operation involved the Pakokku People’s Defense Force (PPDF), Young Force – UG, and Burma Revolution Rangers (BRR), who targeted the military council camp with both heavy and light weapons. The battle lasted approximately 20 minutes, during which bunkers and buildings within the military council camp were damaged. After the battle, revolutionary forces successfully withdrew without suffering any casualties.
While the PPDF has confirmed casualties on the military council’s side, the exact number of fatalities is still under investigation. This battle occurred as a response to the military council’s ongoing oppression and violence against local civilians. The People’s Defense Forces continue to conduct military operations with the aim of protecting civilians’ security and rights.
