
The graduation ceremony for the Basic Military Training Course Batch-17 of the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) was successfully held in a liberated area on September 19. During the training period, trainees received comprehensive instruction in fundamental military subjects, military strategy and tactics, military code of conduct and discipline, political awareness education, and physical fitness training. Throughout the course, trainees demonstrated revolutionary spirit, unity, sacrifice, and courage in practical applications of their training.
The graduation ceremony was attended by officials from the National Unity Government’s Ministry of Defense and Military Headquarters, along with representatives from allied revolutionary forces including the Burma People’s Liberation Army (BPLA) Political Officer, regional revolutionary forces such as Mogok Strategy Command, Strategy Command-93, PDF Battalion-513, township-level People’s Defense Force officials, revolutionary comrades from various sectors, and local community leaders. The attendees delivered encouraging and congratulatory speeches to the graduating trainees, urging them to continue their determined efforts toward achieving revolutionary victory.
This training course represents a significant step toward ending the military dictatorship and achieving the goal of federal democracy. The graduating trainees will be able to apply their military knowledge to protect the lives and property of civilians. The successful completion of the graduation ceremony demonstrates the growing strength of the revolution, and revolutionary leaders noted that it will contribute to strengthening the people’s revolution against the military dictatorship system. The training also helps build stronger unity among revolutionary forces, as emphasized by the revolutionary leaders who assessed that the people’s revolution will continue to gain momentum in the struggle to end the military dictatorship.
