
On June 6, members of various battalions and departments under the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) Military Command sent their well-wishes to mark the 80th birthday of National League for Democracy leader and State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
The PDF members in Mandalay offered prayers and good wishes for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s health, safety, and her continued leadership in the liberation of Myanmar’s people. Various battalions held commemorative events to mark her birthday. They also prayed for the complete elimination of the military dictatorship system and successful achievement of federal democracy goals.
