The Black Vote Fighter Local PDF has reported that they successfully intercepted and attacked military council forces operating in Pale Township, Sagaing Region, resulting in casualties on the military side. On September 2, resistance forces launched a coordinated attack against military council troops who were conducting operations in Pale Township, using 60mm and 80mm heavy weapons along with small arms. The resistance forces effectively engaged the military column, forcing them to retreat.
While the exact number of casualties on the military council side could not be immediately confirmed, the resistance forces reported that they were able to safely withdraw from the engagement without suffering any casualties. The military council troops, facing strong resistance from the revolutionary forces, were unable to advance further and were forced to retreat back toward Pale town. This successful operation demonstrated the growing capabilities of the resistance forces in the region.
The attack was carried out through coordination between multiple resistance groups, including the Black Vote Fighter group, the Dark Force People’s Defense Force, the Mother’s Sons Guerrilla Force, and other allied forces. In a separate incident on September 4, the military council conducted an aerial attack on Tanay village in Pale Township, dropping a 500-pound bomb. This deliberate aerial assault resulted in the destruction of one house and claimed the lives of two civilians – one man and one woman. This attack represents another instance of the military council’s continued use of airstrikes against civilian targets in the region, demonstrating their disregard for civilian casualties and infrastructure.
