
In Nga Tharauk Sub-township of Mandalay Region, revolutionary alliance forces successfully encircled and attacked military council troops who had entered the area, resulting in the death of over 70 military council soldiers, according to an official from the Bagan People’s Force. The entire military column was eliminated in the battle, and the revolutionary forces seized weapons and ammunition along with the bodies of the deceased soldiers.
Meanwhile, the military council has awarded first-level technical excellence awards to Colonel Myat Min Oo, who had previously helped fabricate claims of electoral fraud in the 2020 general election to justify the military coup. The awards were presented by military council leader Min Aung Hlaing. Colonel Myat Min Oo had played a significant role in making false allegations about irregularities in the 2020 election voter lists, which the military used as a pretext for their coup.
In Pathein city of Ayeyarwady Region, an incident occurred at the City Police Station where a man armed with two pairs of scissors attacked the facility, resulting in injuries to four police officers, including Station Chief Kyaw Zay Latt. The attacker also sustained gunshot wounds during the incident. Authorities are continuing to investigate the details surrounding this case. The incident has highlighted ongoing tensions and security concerns in various parts of the country as the conflict between revolutionary forces and the military council continues to escalate.
