
According to an official statement from the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), fierce fighting continues between the military council forces and TNLA in five villages within Naung Cho Township, Shan State. The ongoing battles are taking place in Kyauk Kham village, Aung Chan Thar village, Ye Maung Tan village, Naung Lin village, and Myat Chin Nu village, all within the territory of TNLA Brigade 3 in Ta’ang region.
On July 6, intense fighting erupted in Kyauk Kham village between military council forces and the TNLA. During this engagement, the military council forces launched attacks using 24 heavy artillery shells and 30 drone-dropped bombs. Similarly, in Naung Lin village, the military council forces conducted attacks using 16 drone-dropped bombs and fired 40 heavy artillery shells. The military council also carried out aerial bombardments on Lon San village, which had no active fighting, dropping 32 bombs, and attacked Lon Phar village with 2 aerial bombs.
The previous day, on July 5, battles continued across multiple locations including Kyauk Taw village, Kyauk Kham village, Naung Lin village, and Myat Chin Nu village in Naung Cho Township. During these engagements, the military council forces deployed 27 heavy artillery shells and one drone-dropped bomb. The TNLA has issued special warnings to local civilians to remain vigilant against the military council’s aerial attacks and to strictly follow air raid safety protocols to protect themselves from these ongoing military operations.
