The operation was jointly conducted by the Fire Dragon Column of Battalion 3703 and KNLA Battalion 7. According to confirmation from resistance members, their forces were able to successfully withdraw from the area after the attack without suffering any casualties. The military council troops came under ambush while they were moving from their stationed camp toward Shwegyin town. The resistance forces had carefully planned and executed the interception, demonstrating their growing tactical capabilities in the region.
