A military council soldier was killed when resistance forces attacked military council troops who were delivering food rations in Kamma town, Magway Region. According to battle reports, three other military council soldiers were injured in the attack that took place on the evening of July 19. The resistance forces involved in the attack were able to successfully withdraw without any casualties.
The attacking resistance forces included Red Giant, YGF Youth Guerrilla Force, Alintan Guerrilla Force (Myaing), PI PDF, and Tiger Warrior Force (TWF). According to Daung Ni from the RED GIANT group, they decided to launch the attack after their drone surveillance spotted approximately 10 military council soldiers who were hiding while delivering food rations.
Kamma town is one of the areas in Magway Region where significant revolutionary activities are taking place, with frequent clashes between local People’s Defense Forces and military council troops. This attack represents one of the ongoing military operations by resistance forces in the region and demonstrates the strengthening cooperation between different resistance groups.
