MAGWAY DIVISION – The junta checkpoint near Kyaung Village in Seikphyu Township was bombed with drones for two straight days and a junta solider was killed, reported an official from No Border Freedom Federal Column.
The junta post to the south of the village on the Saw-Seikphyu Road was attacked with 15 grenades from 8 a.m. on February 1 till 4 p.m. on February 2 and the grenades landed directly on the camp of the junta soldiers, killing one solider and injuring many.
“We attacked them with breaks in between for two days straight. We have yet to learn of any updates. The junta dogs (junta forces) were reportedly carried into junta defense industry 21. Because they suffered heavily, they fired a lot of heavy artillery and attacked with paramotors. Civilians were hurt. Four cattle were killed. But our troops are not harmed,” said the official from No Border Freedom Federal Column.
The junta forces injured in the attack were carried in cars to defense industry 21. After that, junta forces launched heavy artillery attacks from inside defense industry 21, bombed using paramotors and also opened fire recklessly, heavily injuring three civilians from Kyunmagyi Village and killing four cows.
The attack on the junta checkpoint was led by No Border Freedom Federal Column and Seikphyu Western Zone 1 (PDO) AK also cooperated in the attack.
