Ko Nagar Lay, a representative from the Wetlet Information Network, confirmed that on May 10th, around noon, a J-Fighter jet from Meiktila Air Base conducted two separate bombing raids targeting areas near Pyishein Aung pump station west of Shinmakara village in eastern Wetlet Township and near Talain village in northern Sagaing Township.
The aerial attacks occurred without any ongoing battles in the area, resulting in injuries to a civilian traveler from Sadaung Township who sustained spinal injuries from bomb fragments. The Pyishein Aung pump station was also damaged in the attack. Local sources report that the military council forces have been conducting arbitrary airstrikes against civilian areas, necessitating extreme vigilance among local residents regarding potential air raids. The military council’s unprovoked attacks have created an atmosphere of constant fear and uncertainty in the region.
