The incident took place around 6:45 AM on September 1st along the Sagaing-Myitnge bypass road. According to local sources, the crash resulted in two immediate fatalities, one person missing, and four others sustaining injuries.
Among the injured, one person is reported to be in critical condition. Social welfare organizations promptly transported all injured victims to Mandalay General Hospital and Amarapura Hospital for immediate medical attention. The bodies of the two deceased individuals have been transferred to the morgue at Mandalay General Hospital, where investigations are ongoing. Additionally, rescue operations continue as teams search for one person believed to be trapped beneath the oil tanker.
