
The Malaysia-based Doctors Without Borders organization has provided nutritional support to internally displaced people (IDPs) in Depaeyin Township who have fled their homes due to the military council’s brutal military operations. The donation, consisting of fried noodles, was distributed to 130 IDPs through the Depaeyin Township Brotherhood group.
Local residents have been forced to abandon their homes for an extended period due to the military council’s heavy artillery attacks, arson, and violence. The displaced civilians face numerous challenges including shortages of food, shelter, medicine, and other basic necessities, making them dependent on support from both domestic and international donors.
Doctors Without Borders (Malaysia) has been working to address the humanitarian challenges faced by the people of Myanmar. Through collaboration with the Depaeyin Township Brotherhood group, they were able to provide nutritional support to the IDPs. This donation has helped alleviate some of the food security challenges faced by the displaced civilians who continue to struggle with basic necessities while away from their homes due to the ongoing conflict.
