
On March 23, the No Turning Back Revolution People’s Strike Column led a peaceful protest march in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, demanding the end of the military dictatorship. Local residents participated in the demonstration calling for the complete abolition of the military dictatorship system and the emergence of a federal democratic system.
Yinmabin Township is one of the areas in Sagaing Region that has suffered extensive damage due to military offensive operations. Since the military coup, junta forces have committed numerous human rights violations against local civilians, including arrests, torture, arson attacks, and looting. However, local residents continue to stand firm in their resistance against the military dictatorship with unwavering determination.
The No Turning Back Revolution People’s Strike Column has been systematically organizing anti-dictatorship activities and has gained strong support from local communities. The protests have seen broad participation from various segments of society, including youth, women, and elderly citizens. Strike column leaders have stated that they will continue their activities against the military dictatorship system.
