In the northern region of Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Division, the No Return Democracy Revolution protest column conducted a public demonstration today, June 10, as a pre-celebration of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s 80th birthday. The protest march was organized with the aim of completely eliminating the military dictatorship system.
The protest column included local civilians, youth activists, and democracy supporters who peacefully marched with anti-dictatorship banners and flags. This demonstration also served as a show of support for State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, who remains detained following the military coup.
The No Return protest column represents a civilian force that continues to persistently work towards ending the military dictatorship and restoring democracy. They serve as an organization that exposes to the world the oppression and human rights violations that civilians are enduring under military rule. The group maintains its commitment to peaceful resistance while highlighting the ongoing struggles of Myanmar’s people under military oppression.
