
A special photo exhibition focusing on Myanmar’s situation was held in Bucheon city, Incheon, South Korea. The exhibition, titled ‘May Myanmar Flourish,’ took place on June 7th from 12 noon to 6 PM. This significant event aimed to highlight the Myanmar people’s struggle for democracy and current situation to the international community, serving as an important platform for raising awareness about the ongoing crisis in Myanmar.
The photo exhibition was organized in conjunction with a historic democratic movement in South Korea. It commemorated the anniversary of the June 10, 1987 South Korean student democracy movement, creating a meaningful connection between the democratic struggles of both nations. The event was jointly organized by Korean and Myanmar civil society organizations, demonstrating solidarity between the people of both countries and their shared aspirations for democratic values.
The exhibition was led by Myanmar Spring Center, with collaboration from the Myanmar Federal Democracy Movement Committee (MFDMC) and the Anti-Military Coup Committee (Korea). The event was held at the public square in front of Bucheon Station, featuring photographs documenting the current situation inside Myanmar. The exhibition was scheduled to continue until June 8th, with the objective of helping Korean citizens better understand the ongoing situation in Myanmar. The photographs displayed captured various aspects of the current circumstances in Myanmar, providing visitors with a visual narrative of the country’s present challenges and the people’s struggle for democracy.
