
A demonstration of support for the Spring Revolution and Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun was held at the Sanshein Myanmar Restaurant in Daegu, South Korea. The event was attended by local Myanmar people, Golden Land returnees, and pro-democracy activists who gathered to pledge their support for the revolution. During the ceremony, a prominent revolutionary activist known as Daegu Sayadaw attended and made donations to support the revolutionary cause.
In his address, Daegu Sayadaw encouraged everyone to contribute whatever they could to support the revolution, emphasizing that regardless of who else contributes, each person should start with their own contribution and continue participating until the complete fall of the dictatorship system. He also spoke about the need for international community support to end the oppression, human rights violations, and violence perpetrated by the military council against the Myanmar people under their authoritarian rule.
During the event, participants passed resolutions supporting Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun’s continued service and offered collective prayers for the success of the Spring Revolution. The Myanmar community in South Korea also pledged to continue providing unified support for the revolution. Attendees sang songs commemorating the Spring Revolution and offered prayers for its success. The gathering demonstrated the strong solidarity among Myanmar people abroad in their support for the democratic movement and their opposition to the military regime that continues to oppress civilians in their homeland.
