The attack, which occurred at approximately 8:30 AM on June 20, was part of a pre-planned operation by revolutionary forces.
Detailing the attack, the Zero Guerrilla Force official explained that they had conducted surveillance and positioned themselves along the military council troops’ expected route since June 19. The following morning, they ambushed approximately 20 military council soldiers who had left Min Nae Kone camp to shop at Kaung Sin village.
