
The People’s Defense Force (PDF) has successfully captured a military outpost located at the 18-mile point on the Salin-Setoktara road in Magway Region, according to confirmation from the Pakokku District Battalion 6. During the battle that took place on April 1, four military personnel were captured as prisoners, and multiple weapons were seized. The operation involved the coordination of multiple battalions from the Pakokku District and local revolutionary forces.
The weapons seized during the operation included two MA-1 rifles, two MA-3 rifles, one M-79 launcher, and various other military ammunition and equipment. The attack was led by a column commander from Pakokku District Battalion 2, with joint participation from Pakokku District Battalions 6, 7, 14, 15, and 17, along with the Myaing People’s Defense Force and Minbu District Battalion 1.
This successful operation represents a significant victory in controlling military movement in the region and will contribute to the security of local civilians. The revolutionary forces have announced that the captured weapons and ammunition will be utilized in ongoing revolutionary operations. The coordinated effort demonstrated the growing capabilities of resistance forces in conducting complex military operations against the military council’s outposts.
