
The terrorist military council conducted airstrikes on Ma Gyi Pin Tae village in Thaung Tha Township, Mandalay Region, resulting in one civilian being severely injured, as confirmed by the Thaung Tha Township Public Movement Committee. On April 25, between 3:38 PM and 3:45 PM, the military forces launched two separate aerial attacks on Ma Gyi Pin Tae village using fighter jets. The attacks resulted in one civilian suffering severe injuries and the destruction of seven houses. During the attacks, villagers had to flee in terror to find safe shelter.
Additionally, the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) reported continued airstrikes by the terrorist military in Nawnghkio Township, Northern Shan State. On April 24 in the evening, the military dropped 27 bombs near Kyauk Kham village using Y-12 aircraft, despite there being no active fighting in the area. At around 7:29 PM, they further attacked the area near Ummati village with eight chemical bombs from fighter jets during ongoing clashes. Furthermore, on April 21, the military launched 15 chemical bombs near Military Post 902 near Taung Kham village during active fighting.
Despite extending the ceasefire period until the end of April, the terrorist military continues to reinforce troops, launch offensives, and conduct airstrikes in areas controlled by the Palaung State Liberation Front/Ta’ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA), including areas where there is no active fighting, according to TNLA statements. Local civilians have been forced to take shelter in IDP camps, facing shortages of food and medical supplies. The military’s continued airstrikes have resulted in increasing civilian casualties and extensive damage to residential buildings and infrastructure, as reported by local residents.
