The attacks, which began on the morning of March 8 and continued until evening, targeted Kyauk Gyi Pauk village and surrounding areas with continuous aerial bombardment, according to local residents. These air strikes resulted in the destruction of a monastery and numerous civilian homes in the area.
The exact extent of civilian casualties from the attacks cannot yet be confirmed. Currently, local residents have been forced to flee their homes and seek shelter in safer locations. According to a local resident, the military aircraft conducted continuous bombing raids starting from the morning, specifically targeting Kyauk Gyi Pauk village and nearby communities. The ongoing attacks have caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure and forced mass displacement of local populations.
