
The People’s Administration of Kanpetlet Town has confirmed that homes and government buildings were destroyed following repeated aerial bombardments by the terrorist military in Chin State’s Kanpetlet Town. The attacks occurred on April 2 at approximately 1:15 PM when the terrorist military conducted airstrikes across various locations in the town using fighter jets. The aerial assault resulted in the destruction of more than 20 buildings, including civilian homes and government office buildings, while also causing injuries to local residents.
According to detailed reports from the People’s Administration of Kanpetlet Town, the structures destroyed by the terrorist military’s airstrikes included 5 civilian homes, 8 General Administration Department buildings, 1 Call Nu Sum Guest House, 2 Rural Development Department offices, 1 Township Election Commission office, 1 Township Audit office, and 2 Township Planning Department offices, totaling 20 buildings. Additional structures in the township were also reported to have sustained damage from the airstrikes.
Due to the terrorist military’s frequent aerial attacks on Kanpetlet Township, the People’s Administration has issued warnings to residents in urban wards to remain especially vigilant against air raids and to immediately seek shelter when aircraft sounds are heard.
