
People’s Defense Forces successfully launched attacks on military council positions in Khin-U Township, Sagaing Region, and Thaung-tha Township, Mandalay Region, resulting in military casualties. The Ayeyarwady Township PDF conducted an artillery strike on military council troops stationed at Pyaung Htaung Pyu Saw Htee village in Khin-U Township on April 4th in the afternoon. The attack involved fifteen 80mm artillery rounds, and military council forces suffered casualties according to a spokesperson from the Ayeyarwady Township PDF.
While the exact number of military council casualties could not be confirmed, resistance forces were able to withdraw successfully without any injuries. Additionally, the Thaung-tha People’s Defense Force successfully intercepted and attacked military council troops and Pyu Saw Htee militia members who were conducting operations in Thaung-tha Township, Mandalay Region. The Thaung-tha PDF released a statement confirming the successful operation against the military forces.
On March 25th, the Thaung-tha PDF intercepted and attacked a military council column of over one hundred troops that was advancing from Myingyan Township toward Nan Myint Taung area in Thaung-tha Township. As the battle intensified, the military council responded by launching two airstrikes using fighter jets from Meiktila Air Base. However, resistance forces were able to withdraw systematically without suffering any casualties. The exact number of military council casualties from this engagement has not yet been confirmed.
