A spokesperson from the 925 Guerrilla Force (Ngazun) has confirmed that military council troops suffered casualties following a drone strike on their base in Thone Tha village, Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region. The attack, which occurred around 11 AM on March 6, targeted a military council outpost where approximately 50 troops were stationed. Revolutionary forces conducted the operation using two fixed-wing drones to drop three bombs on the target.
The joint operation was carried out by multiple resistance groups, including the 925 Guerrilla Force (Ngazun), Ngazun Township PDF, Ayeyarma Python Guerrilla Force, Fight For Freedom Drone Team, and Zeya Shwe Myay Group. While the exact number of military casualties could not be immediately confirmed, resistance sources reported significant losses among the military council troops. All resistance fighters successfully withdrew from the operation area without sustaining any casualties.
The resistance forces have issued warnings to local residents in Ngazun Township to remain vigilant against potential airstrikes, as the military council frequently conducts aerial attacks targeting civilian areas. The military council has established multiple outposts in the region, from which they continue to threaten and persecute local civilians. Revolutionary forces have stated their commitment to continuing operations against military council positions to ensure the safety and security of local residents. The successful drone strike demonstrates the growing capabilities of resistance forces in their campaign against military occupation in the region.
