
Resistance forces conducted two consecutive days of drone strikes against military council troops stationed in Pyu Saw Htee villages in Pakokku Township, Magway Region, resulting in 10 military council casualties. The attacks took place on April 20 and 21, targeting military council forces entrenched in West Magyikan Pyu Saw Htee village and Aung Tha Pyu Saw Htee village. The operation was carried out by Pakokku District People’s Defense Force 5 (Ayeyardon) in collaboration with allied forces.
The joint operation involved multiple resistance groups including Pauk PDF BLY, Yinmabin District Battalion (16) Drone Force, Yinmabin District Battalion (17), NPDF Yinmabin Force, B21 Force, Kingfighter RC Plain Force, Strategy (47) Drone Force, Special Forces-11, and Rocket Fighter. The attack utilized 2 drones and 4 fixed-wing aircraft, deploying over 80 bombs during the operation. The military council had approximately 500 troops stationed across the two villages at the time of the attack.
According to La Pyae, spokesperson for the Rocket Fighter group, the strikes resulted in 10 military council troops killed and 5 wounded. Although the military council forces returned fire during the operation, the resistance forces were able to successfully withdraw without any casualties. The operation expended approximately 50 drop bombs and 30 60mm artillery rounds. Some houses in the areas where military council troops were stationed were reported to have been destroyed by fire during the engagement. The successful coordinated attack demonstrated the growing capabilities of resistance forces in conducting precision strikes against military council positions.
