A spokesperson from the 925 Guerrilla Force (Nganzun) has confirmed that military council soldiers were killed in a drone strike on their camp in Htun Tha village, Nganzun Township, Mandalay Region. The attack, which occurred around 11 AM on March 6, targeted a military council outpost where approximately 50 soldiers were stationed. Revolutionary forces conducted the attack using drones to drop three bombs on the military position.
The operation was carried out through a joint effort of multiple resistance groups, including the 925 Guerrilla Force (Nganzun), Nganzun Township PDF, Ayeyarma Python Guerrilla Force, Fight For Freedom Drone Team, and Zeya Shwe Myay Group. The attack utilized two fixed-wing drones to deliver the payload. While resistance forces confirmed multiple casualties among military council troops, the exact number of casualties could not be immediately verified. The resistance forces successfully withdrew from the operation without suffering any casualties.
The military council continues to conduct airstrikes and other violent operations against civilians in the Nganzun Township area, prompting resistance forces to warn local residents to remain vigilant about potential air attacks. Local residents report that innocent civilians have been killed in these military council airstrikes, and the security situation in the region continues to deteriorate. The ongoing military operations have created significant safety concerns for the civilian population, who must remain constantly alert to the threat of aerial attacks while trying to maintain their daily lives under increasingly difficult circumstances.
