
Three military council soldiers were killed when the Bamar Army and allied forces attacked a military checkpoint near Nget Ta Mae village near Singu Island town in Salin Township, Magway Region, using drones and heavy weapons. The attack occurred around 8:30 PM on March 27th, carried out through joint operations between the Bamar Army and ground alliance forces. During the attack, many military council personnel were also injured. The revolutionary forces were able to withdraw safely after the operation without any casualties.
The attack was conducted by members of the Salin Township Ground Alliance Forces, including the Bamar Army, Minbu District Battalion No. 1, Minbu District Battalion No. 5, Daung Sit Aung People’s Defense Force, Daung Nyi Naung Urban Guerrilla Force, and other revolutionary groups. Additionally, in Ye-U town in the Sagaing Region, fighting broke out when the People’s Defense Force launched a mine attack against military council soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members who were patrolling near the National Rice Mill in Ye-U Kon ward.
The Ye-U battle, which occurred around 10 PM on March 29th, resulted in military council casualties, though the exact number could not be confirmed. A spokesperson from the Ye-U Township People’s Defense Force confirmed that revolutionary forces were able to withdraw safely after the attack without any casualties. They also warned local civilians to avoid areas close to military council troops, as more effective attacks would be carried out in the future. The resistance forces continue to maintain their offensive operations against military council positions while prioritizing civilian safety in their operational areas.
