A military council soldier was killed when People’s Defense Forces attacked junta troops who were destroying and looting a rural health clinic at the entrance of Pazunmyaing village in Nyaunglebin Township, Bago Region, according to a Fire Dragon Force official. The incident occurred around 11 AM on May 5th when members of the Fire Dragon Force and KNLA Battalion 7 launched an attack on military council soldiers who were in the process of destroying and looting the Pazunmyaing Rural Health Clinic building.
The attack site was located close to the military council’s Tayat checkpoint, with an estimated 15 to 25 military council soldiers present at the time. The Fire Dragon Force official revealed that military council troops have been systematically looting and destroying local residents’ homes in the area, often burning down houses after looting them. The official also disclosed that the stolen goods are being sold to certain brokers in Nyaunglebin town.
The official warned people to be cautious of house brokers, land brokers, timber brokers, and used house dealers who are profiting from buying and reselling properties and materials stolen from buildings that were built with the people’s sweat and blood. The revolutionary forces successfully withdrew from the operation without suffering any casualties, while confirming one military council soldier was killed in the engagement.
