
The Pale Joker PDF has confirmed that one military council soldier who left the Pyusawthi camp in Ziphyukone village, Pale Township, Sagaing Region, was killed in an attack, and weapons were seized. During the attack that occurred on June 5, the resistance forces seized one firearm, two ammunition magazines, and a quantity of bullets from the deceased soldier. The attack was led by revolutionary forces from Battalion 19 of Yinmabin District – Pale Joker PDF and Strategy 48, who successfully withdrew from the area without any casualties among their members.
Simultaneously, a representative from the Ye-U Freedom Comrades (YFC) confirmed that resistance forces conducted a drone attack on more than thirty military council troops who were conducting clearance operations near Kyaphyu roundabout at the southern exit of Ye-U town in Sagaing Region. While the exact casualties from the drone attack that occurred on the morning of June 6 could not be confirmed, it was reported that the military council forces responded with indiscriminate heavy weapons fire in the area.
The drone attack was jointly carried out by Shwebo District People’s Defense drone mobile units including the Ye-U Freedom Comrades (YFC), the Wolf Pack group, and the 5/Mahura Buffalo (People’s Defense Force Ye-U) group. According to local residents, military council troops frequently conduct so-called clearance operations in the area, which often involve intimidation of civilians and looting of property. The revolutionary forces are reportedly conducting such attacks with the aim of protecting the lives and property of local civilians. These operations are part of the broader resistance movement against the military council’s oppressive actions in the region.
