
A spokesperson from the Spring Warriors Column headquarters has confirmed that revolutionary forces have captured a military council soldier alive along with weapons and ammunition during operations in the Sittaung River Valley area of Kyaukkyi Township, Bago Region. The capture occurred on June 10 when revolutionary forces encountered the soldier while conducting security patrols in the area.
The captured soldier was reportedly left behind during the fighting that took place on June 26 as part of the Sittaung River Valley operation. During the arrest, revolutionary forces seized one MA1 rifle, three ammunition magazines, and various military ammunition from the soldier. Officials confirmed that the captured military council soldier has now been transferred to relevant authorities for further processing.
